Dave Rastovich refusing to pose for the cameraDave Rastovich, like many of us, is very concerned about the plight of the critically endangered Maui’s dolphin. He’s paddling 350km along the coast to raise awareness. This epic effort will cover most of the dolphin’s range and also the area where seabed mining is proposed. There’s a great many reasons why this is a bad thing. Surfers, ecologists, health professionals and many more people have their own. Find out more at Kiwis Against Seabed Mining (KASM).
While he’s not paddling, he’ll be hanging out in one of the PiwiWiwi van’s we’ve donated to the cause. An awesome surfer knows an awesome surf van, and we know an important cause.
Beach Events with Dave Rastovich
